Robert F. Ball (Director/designer) Robert's directorial work for for The Crescent includes: To Kill a Mockingbird (2003), Lysistrata (2005), The Passion (2006), Shopping and F***ing (2007), a revival of Shirley Valentine (2007), The Comedy of Errors (2007), The Breath of Life (2008), The Arsonists (2008), the UK premiere of The Bus (2009), The Vortex (2009), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (2010) and The Merry Wives of Windsor (2010). In 2006 he directed Stella for Lionhead Productions and I Licked a Slag's Deodorant for Glue Productions. Robert has designed a number of productions for several companies, most recently Not Quite Gospel for NuCentury Arts and Miss Julie for Threepenny Theatre. |

Samantha Mongtomery (Beatrice)
Some of Sams theatre work includes the roles of Helena in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Lady Macduff in Macbeth, Procne in Love of the Nightingale and Fontanelle in Edward Lears Bond. Sam has appeared in 'Heartbeat' as Millicent Gray for Granada Tv, 'Blood on her Hands' as Vickie Silcock for ITV drama as well as feature films 'Cymru to Cincinnati' and 'Nasty Neighbours'. Sam was taught and mentored by the late acting coach 'guru' Gordon Price at the Lehmiski Academy before heading to the Birmingham Theatre School. |

James Parsons (Benedick)
Jame's work in theatre and radio covers parts as diverse as Iago (Othello, 2005), Dame Trott (Jack & The Beanstalk 2007), Paul Sheldon (Stephen King's Misery, 2007), and Commander Brint (Doctor Who: I. Davros 2007), and a wide variety of film roles ranging across alcoholic fathers, drag queens, dodgy theatrical agents, psychotic interrogators, deluded DJs, transsexual taxi passengers, World War II codebreakers, and deranged artists. He also reads talking books for the RNIB. |
